A Land of opportunities in Dubai

Dubai is riding high on the startup wave so much so that AED 1 billion has been announced recently to support new companies and startups.

 Dubai, one of the fastest growing cities in the world, is offering the perfect eco-system for entrepreneurs from world over. The city which is also known as the business hub of Western Asia is increasingly attracting entrepreneurs from around the world. Much of the trend has been attributed to the lucrative deals and business-friendly policies of the city. 

 The city has been a centre for regional and international trade since early 20th century. Today, Dubai Startup Hub, an initiative supported by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is all set to propel the city towards becoming a global innovation hub. The city offers next generation technologies and state-of-the-art infrastructure to help businesses flourish. 

 Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai announced in the second Dubai Council's meeting that 'Dubai Future District', a new district dedicated to the new economy will take shape soon. This will be the largest district in the Middle East. His Highness had also announced the launch of an AED 1 billion to support new companies. The development will make Dubai a lucrative destination for startups. 

 In July 2019, two startups from India were awarded free office space and company setup in Dubai during the first-ever Dubai Startup Hub Roadshow that was hosted in Delhi and Bengaluru by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The mega event that was organised by the Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (Dtec) saw entries from over 200 startups in India. With initiatives like Dubai Startup Hub, Dubai aims to connect startups, entrepreneurs, students, venture capitalists and help them collaborate and create new partnerships that will potentially boost the economic growth.

Nirmala Sitharaman Presented Budget 2020 on Saturday that focused on raising the purchasing power by cutting income tax rates and boosting rural income.
